When the power goes off, you know how useful your cell phone's flashlight app can be. The makers of the Lyfelite claim their product can bring you four to five hours of light, even if you don't have access to a power grid.
The Lyfelite is a set of battery-powered emergency LED bulbs that are supposed to stay on in the event of a power outage. After three to four hours of charge time while in normal use, one bulb is said to provide you with the four to five hours of emergency lighting.
Does the Lyfelite work as advertised? To put it to the test, we enlisted the help of Daniel Batemen, public programs manager with Exploration Place.
