Derby Hills Elementary School is currently on lockdown due to an issue in a nearby neighborhood.

Sedgwick County dispatchers say it is a domestic violence call.

The school said in a Facebook post that exterior doors have been locked and no one is allowed in.

School will remain normal inside. However, students will not go out for recess while the school is locked down.

The school says follow-up alerts will be made through the Skylert system as soon as the lockdown is lifted.
