Chief Meteorologist Ross Janssen says that a stray storm chance will be around through Friday, but after that, expect sunshine and a very warm weekend ahead for Kansas.
Temperatures will start out in the 60s for Friday with a mainly clear sky. We don't expect much wind on Friday, but what breeze we will have should be from the north. Highs will be up around 90 once again with sunshine mixed with clouds. A stray storm may pop up in central and eastern Kansas, but chances are slim.
The upcoming weekend looks dry with sunshine and highs mainly in the upper 80s. We will see rain chances increasing once again early next week.
