A Wichita attorney is the latest person to express interest in the 4th Congressional District seat left vacant by Mike Pompeo.
Eric Kidwell announced his candidacy for the Republican nomination on February 9 for the April 11 special election.
That seat was made vacant when Pompeo went to serve as Director of the CIA.
Kidwell says he believes that "good common sense can help him be a successful voice for Kansas. He is not a professional politician as one may see in most candidates or campaigns, and is a firm believer in term limits."
