KWCH Factfinder 12 teams up with AARP, BBB to keep you safe

We hear about it every day in Kansas – a criminal steals personal information and leaves the frustrated victim out of money and time. Someone stealing your identity can be devastating. It’s one of the top concerns that comes into our Factfinder 12 Investigative team. That’s why we’ve partnered with AARP and its Fraud Watch Network and the Better Business Bureau to give you new information so you don’t become a victim.

AARP and the BBB are also hosting a free workshop in July on how to avoid frauds, scams and how to protect your identity. The featured speaker is retired FBI Agent Jeff Lanza, who is an expert in cybersecurity and identity theft prevention. The event is free but you must register to attend.
