Police say 15-year-old Samuel Harter was riding a skateboard Sunday (April 7) while holding on to a car window when he fell off and hit his head.

Bridget Newman, who is Harter's aunt, says he will be remembered for his personality.

"Everybody loved Sam. He was just silly and always smiling," Newman said. "He's up there, looking at the sun. It's beautiful."

Harter's family said a blue sky at the park was the perfect way to celebrate his life. They say the best part is that he lives on through organ donation.

"A 52-year-old man is going to be walking around with a 15-year-old heart. How cool is that? Sammy saved five lives on the day he passed. It's powerful," said Newman.

Friends of the Harter family started a GoFundMe page to help raise money for expenses.
