FBI: Man in brown face robs east Wichita bank

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) 5:20 p.m.

The FBI is releasing more information about a man they say robbed the Fidelity Bank in Bradley Fair on Wednesday afternoon.

Investigators say the robber walked into the bank, gave the teller a demand note. He threatened a weapon but nothing was shown and no one was hurt.

The suspect ran away with an undisclosed amount of money.

Investigators describe the suspect as a white man in his early to mid-30s, average build. The FBI says the suspect was wearing all black, including a black hooded jack, black gloves and brown face paint.

4:18 p.m.

Police are on the scene of a bank robbery in east Wichita.

Sedgwick County dispatchers say they received a call around 3:21 p.m. about a bank robbery at Fidelity Bank in Bradley Fair, near 21st and Rock Road.

They say no one was hurt.

The bank was robbed one month ago today.

Police say no suspect, in either case, has been arrested.
