WICHITA, Kan. Court documents show the former human resources director at Newman University in Wichita is suing the college.
The lawsuit claims university officials fired former Newman HR Director Mandy Greenfield for reporting rules violations.
Greenfield says she reported complaints of gender discrimination against several of the school's athletic officials and the vice president for student affairs.
She says her firing in January 2018 was retaliation for that report. Newman University Friday issued a statement, saying in part, it is aware of the allegations made by Greenfield and denies the claims .
