ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (KWCH) A GoFundMe account started to help a 20-year-old Florida woman raising her five siblings has exceeded its goal.

Community members set up the page to raise $25,000. That goal has reached more than $27,000.

Samantha took on the task of raising her siblings after they lost both parents to cancer.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office Aviation Unit "adopted" the Rodriguez kids in December. When the community heard about the family's loss, they stepped up and several anonymous donors came together and bought Samantha a car.

Samantha and her siblings say they couldn't be more grateful.

"I can't express how grateful I am to every single person who has donated, or just sent their best wishes to my brother and sisters and me," she said. "When we met the Orange County Sheriff's Office Aviation Unit at Christmas, I never imagined that relationship would lead to these amazing blessings. I'm at a loss for words, but the kids and I will be forever grateful to all of you."

If you'd like to help the Rodriguez family, donations can still be made here.
