Goat Insurance Challenge benefits local university's scholarship fund

A new social media trend involving goats is designed to benefit Newman University in Wichita.

Specifically, the 'Goat Insurance Challenge' is designed to raise money for the Newman Scholarship Fund.

The idea behind the challenge is strange, but simple. Either donate to the Newman Scholarship Fund or a goat will pay you a visit. Mayor Jeff Longwell participated in the challenge Tuesday morning.

Seeing a goat going through security at City Hall is the kind of thing that grabs attention and that's what Newman University is counting on.

The 'Goat Insurance Challenge' is the brainchild of a Newman alum. In participating, Longwell says it's fun supporting a local school.
