A Harvey County pastor charged with aggravated indecent liberties with a child has resigned.
According to a former church member, Kevin Berry resigned from the First Christian Church of Sedgwick.
Eyewitness News has reached out to the church but have not heard back.
Berry is charged with one count of aggravated indecent liberties with a Child.
Court documents show the incident took place last September.
Berry says he still does not know what the allegations are about but has an idea who the alleged victim is.

Harvey County officials have released the criminal complaint filed against Pastor Kevin Berry, who is the pastor of First Christian Church of Sedgwick.
The complaint, which can be viewed HERE, alleges that the incident happened on September 17 of 2017 and involved a teenager born in 2003.
He is charged with one count of Aggravated Indecent Liberties with a Child, which is a felony.
Eyewitness News spoke with Harvey County Attorney David Yoder, who says this is the only count they're charging Berry with at this time.
We also talked with Pastor Berry, who says he is in the process of getting a new attorney.
He says he has an idea of who the alleged victim is. That person is identified in court documents only by their initials. Berry tells us he still does not know what the allegations are about.

First Christian Church of Sedgwick released the following statement following the arrest of pastor Kevin Berry:
The First Christian Church of Sedgwick has accepted Kevin Berry’s request to be placed on administrative leave to give him time to work through the charges he is facing. The church board has taken the position to continue their support of Kevin at this time.

Harvey County authorities arrested a pastor on a charge involving a minor.
The Harvey County Sheriff's Office says Kevin Berry was arrested for aggravated indecent liberties with a child between 14-16 years old.
Berry was booked into jail Friday around 9:30 p.m.and bailed out Saturday around 2:15 a.m.
According to a Facebook page for First christian Church of Sedgwick, allegations were made against Berry in 2017.
At the time, a letter was sent to people at the church. The letter explained the allegations regarding Berry.
The letter said the matter had been turned over to authorities and the pastor voluntarily chose not to attend any activities involving children at the church.
The post says after several months passed, they still didn't have much new information about the allegations and the Harvey County attorney asked that the investigation be conducted again by a different agency.
Berry says he still doesn't know exactly what he's accused of.
"I've asked my church for administrative leave while I confirm my innocence and clear my name. It's my understanding the church will post some sort of a statement some time tomorrow."
He says he doesn't know yet if he will be on paid or unpaid leave.

In a post shared March 15, the page explains that the Harvey County attorney asked that the investigation into allegations against Berry be conducted again by a different agency.
The post also explains several corrective measures the church underwent to protect children there. those measures include a Children and Youth Mentoring and Protection Policy, a mandatory background check for people working with children, and official training for all youth and children program volunteers.
The Facebook page also says that Berry went to personal counseling and received further training on leading and appropriate interaction with children and youth.
At the time of the post, the church said Berry would not be participating in any of the church's children's activities.

Authorities in Harvey County say Kevin Berry was booked into the jail at 9:30 p.m. Friday on a count of aggravated indecent liberties with a child, aged fourteen to sixteen.
A church employee at Frist Christian Church of Sedgwick confirms, Berry is a pastor there.
Eyewitness News spoke with the jail, they tell us Berry was released early Saturday morning after posting $25,000 bond.
The Sheriff's Office says the investigation was in cooperation with the Sedgwick Police Department.
