WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) Wichita police arrest three people after a chase where one suspect fired at officers.

The incident started around 11:20 p.m. on Wednesday when officers attempted to stop a 2013 white Chevrolet Silverado for a traffic infraction.
Police say 29-year-old TJ McMahan, of Wichita, the driver of the vehicle, refused to stop, accelerated and drove away.
Police say a chase ensued and McMahan fired two shots at the officers while driving. The first shot was in the area of East 1st Street and North Spruce Street, and the second was in the area of East 1st Street and North Estelle. No officers were injured.
The pursuit continued south on Hillside and ended at Range Street after the truck’s tires were flattened by a tire-deflation device.
McMahan and three other people in the vehicle ran into the neighborhood.
Officers set up a perimeter and used multiple police K-9s, drones, and a KHP helicopter to search for the suspects.
Police located McMahan and arrested her on two counts of aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer, felony evade and elude, criminal possession of a firearm, as well as other drug and traffic-related charges.
Officers also located and arrested 52-year-old Robert Boots and 24-year-old Skyler Bazil-Lounsbury, both of Wichita, on outstanding warrants. The search continues for a known 25-year-old man.
Officers located methamphetamine, marijuana, a gun magazine and live ammunition in the vehicle. A handgun was also recovered during the investigation.
This incident remains an active investigation and will be presented to the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office.
