A high-speed chase ended up crossing airport property in Dodge City on Wednesday.

Sheriff Bill Carr says the chase started when a deputy spotted a driver who had a warrant from the Kansas Department of Corrections.

Carr said the deputy tried to stop the driver, but they drove off.

The driver crashed through a fence at the Dodge City airport and crossed a runway.

The chase lasted about 20 minutes, ending on Highway 50, east of Dodge City.

Deputies arrested two people. A passenger of the vehicle was also found to have a Kansas Department of Corrections warrant.

Eyewitness News chaser Ed O'Neal tweeted out a photo of the conclusion of the chase.

No one was hurt.
