WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) With cold weather expected this weekend, Inter-Faith Ministries says it will keep its winter shelters open during the day Saturday and Sunday.
Normally, the shelters are open just at night.
"There are not many places that our clients can go during the day as other agencies that provide the day services aren't open on the weekend," said Christen Sampamurthy, Interfaith Ministries' director of programs and compliance.
The shelters serve around 120 people every night. They expect the same during the day.
The shelters will provide lunch.
