Hundreds compete at Prairie Fire Marathon
Hundreds of runners packed downtown Wichita Sunday morning for the Prairie Fire Marathon.
The men's marathon winner finished the 26.2-mile race in just less than two hours and 25 minutes. The women's winner was about 25 minutes behind the men's winner, crossing the finish line in two hours, 50 minutes.
The men's half marathon winner set a state record, finishing the 13.1-mile race in one hour, three minutes.
Wichitan Tony Nero won the women's half marathon in a time of one hour and 17 minutes.
