Hutchinson police make prostitution arrest at massage parlor

The Hutchinson Police Department makes a prostitution arrest during a search warrant at a local spa on Tuesday

The police department says its Repeat Offender Unit and Detective Division conducted the search warrant at The Spring Spa, 1509 N Lorraine, after receiving several reports of sexual acts being offered as part of the service.

Police say an undercover detective was offered a sexual act (which he declined), but it confirmed the previous reports.

During a search of the building detectives located numerous items consistent with prostitution.

Officers arrested and charged 54-year-old Yu Jun Fang with 1) Promoting the sale of sexual relations, maintaining an establishment and 2) Promoting the sale of sexual relations.

Her bond is set at $3000.

Police say the investigation is ongoing while they determine if Fang's is involved with a larger organization.
