Wichita, KS Protests are happening across the country over President Trump’s decision to start immigration raids in nine major cities Sunday. The sweeps were expected to target around 2,000 people who a judge has already ordered to be deported.

As protesters rally around the country in response to conditions at detention centers on the Southern Border and ICE raids expected to begin Sunday, protests in Delano were underway this weekend.
Protesters in Delano slept on the sidewalk Friday night, and plan to sleep on the sidewalk again Saturday night.
"Kids are sleeping in cages, how comfortable are they?" one protester said.
ICT Indivisible and Sunflower Community Action organized the protest to bring awareness, and help the undocumented community understand their rights ahead of the possible protests.
"We want to raise awareness of what is going on and just to let people know that this is not right. People, and just kids and families should not be treated this way. It's just inhumane to see what they are doing,” Sarahi Aguilera said.
The operation is set to target undocumented immigrants who were ordered to be deported by a judge for failing to appear in court, according to ICE officials.
