WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) The Kansas Humane Society held its largest annual fundraiser Saturday at the Sedgwick County Park.
Woofstock had live music, costume contests and lots of fun for people and their furry friends.
Funds gathered from the fundraiser help KHS care for thousands of animals each year.
Organizers say they had a great turnout and the morning rain didn't stop people from coming out.
"The money that we raise at Woofstock for the Kansas Humane Society helps us care for about 16,000 animals each year. It's a really important fundraiser for us each year. That's why we have it. Sometimes the weather can be a little difficult for us, but we do what we can," said Ericka Goering.
For those who weren't able to attend the event, an online auction is going on until Monday.
