The Kansas Humane Society continues to help pet owners in need.

The organization will give away free dog and cat food on Friday, June 5 at 5 pm, and Sunday, June 7 at noon.

KHS will only offer curbside pickup for the giveaway.

The Kansas Humane Society is helping pet owners financially impacted by the COVID-19 crisis.

The organization is giving away free pet supplies on Tuesday, April 21 at 1 p.m.

KHS says traffic will be directed through the parking lot for quick and easy curbside pickup of pet supply care packages. Quantities are limited and supplies will be handed out first come, first served.

KHS says Hill’s Pet Nutrition donated 600 pounds of food and Hyper Pet/Cosmic Pet donated a large supply of dog chews and treats.

The humane society continues to seek donations of pet food, cat litter and one-gallon size storage bags so more pet supply care packages can be made. Cat food and cat litter are needed the most.

Organizers say donations can be left near the front doors of KHS.
