Storm Team 12 is getting a look at Kansas' first tornado of the year.

Reed Timmer captured the photo Thursday night in Morris County between Council Grove and Strong City.

The National Weather Service said the report of the tornado came in around 9:30 p.m.

There were no reports of damage

Storm Team 12 says Friday's severe will likely bring mostly flooding rains with a severe threat to the south, along the Oklahoma border.
