Oregon law enforcement says Jeffrey Vance disappeared in the Umpqua Forest on Sunday, February 3. They say he was traveling with a friend when they ran into car trouble and left their vehicle.

Jeff's friend made it to a nearby town, but search and rescue crews haven't found any sign of Jeff.

Angela Carroll, Jeff's mom, says he moved from Salina to Oregon a few months back to be with his wife.

"He left and went back out there for a higher paying job. he has three beautiful children," said Carroll.

Rescuers in Oregon say winter weather has stopped their search several times. Now, Jeff's family says they're preparing to drive to Oregon to help in any way they can.

"Even though we can't get on the mountains, we can go look down logging roads, we can walk...you know. We can go on the outskirts where it's safe enough for us and assist the volunteers," said Jeff's sister, Jennifer Vance.

Jeff's family has set up a Facebook fundraiser to help them get to Oregon: You can check it out here: Jeffrey Vance needs his family!! Lets help get them there!!!
