Addy Tritt, who is from Hays, recently purchased the last 204 pairs of shoes available at a local Payless store that was going out of business and donated them to help victims affected by Nebraska’s record-breaking river flood.

“I have been so blessed,” Tritt told The Hutch Post. “There have been so many great people in my life who have inspired me. I see so many horrible things in the news. So many people have helped me when I was down, I want to help if I can.”

Tritt bought the shoes for $100 and donated them to the Fort Hays State University's agriculture sorority Sigma Alpha.
