WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) If you use Kellogg regularly on the West side you'll want to be aware of some quick changes this weekend.
The Kansas Department of Transportation will close east and westbound lanes for bridgework on Saturday. Make sure you avoid the area since Kellogg will bottleneck down to just one lane.
The closure will only affect drivers throughout the day Saturday.
Crews will also shut down lanes on Kellogg Tuesday and Wednesday to install overhead signs.
These closures are a part of the project to reconstruct this interchange. It started two years ago today. KDOT says the $103 million dollar project is expected to complete in summer of 2019.
The new southbound 235 ramps are now open so expect the exit ramp to west street on eastbound Kellogg to reopen by Thanksgiving.
