ROSE HILL, Kan. (KWCH) A large fire engulfed an industrial building in Rose Hill overnight.
Firefighters say the fire broke out around midnight at Viking Corporation.
The fire was so big, several units from different agencies came in to assist.
"We have units from Rose Hill, Andover, Augusta, Sedgwick county, Mulvane, Derby, McConnell Air Force Base, Douglass, Benton, and the emergency medical service that of course all have units here. It's a very labor intensive fire. We had to go inside to try and fight it," Rose Hill PIO Jim Schmidt said.
Crews say they were able to contain the fire and minimize the damage to a degree.
No one was hurt but officials say they had to be careful because there was a lot of toxic paint in the building that was on fire.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.
