WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) Southeast Kansas was in a moderate-risk area for severe weather Wednesday.
An outlook from the National Weather Service also showed portions of western Missouri and northern Oklahoma in the threat area.
As of late Wednesday night, the primary tornado threat impacted Oklahoma and Missouri more so than southeast Kansas.
The severe threat shifts west on Thursday as most of the state continues to struggle with flooding.
