Law enforcement and firefighters compete in Cuffs vs. Axes boxing event

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) Law enforcement officers and firefighters stepped into the ring Saturday night for the second annual Cuffs vs. Axes Boxing Charity Event.

The Honor Adversis Foundation partnered with the Wichita Firefighters Charity Club and Villa Boxing Club to make the event possible.

"There has always been some sort of Police vs Fire charity boxing classic. We just happened to-- there was a break, a lull in the period and we just happened to decide, all three foundations to bring it back."

All proceeds from the fight will go towards each foundation for first responders as well as the Villa Boxing Delinquency Prevention Program.

The Honor Adversis Foundation paid a special tribute to Sedgwick County Deputy Robert Kunze before the fight. His wife and daughter were presented with their own championship belt.
