Liberal police make arrest during drug bust

(LIBERAL, Kan.) Police in Liberal arrest a man after receiving a tip of someone selling drugs.

Around 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 12, Liberal police say officers checked a home in the 200 block of S. Clay after the report of someone selling drugs. Police say the 25-year-old man who lived there also had an active warrant for his arrest.

Police say they found the man at his home. They say a police K-9 indicated the presence of drugs in the man's car. Officers searched both his car and the home and found more than 300 grams of suspected marijuana, marijuana wax and marijuana oil.

The man was arrested on suspicion of multiple drug charges, including possession or marijuana with intent to sell. The man is in jail awaiting formal charges by the Seward County Attorney's Office.
