Man accused of stabbing Wichita doctor more than 160 times pleads 'not guilty'

The man charged in the September 2017 death of a Wichita doctor, Wednesday entered a "not guilty" plea in Sedgwick County District Court.
Umar Dutt is charged with first-degree murder in the stabbing death of Dr. Achutha Reddy.
With the "not guilty" plea, Dutt's case now goes to a jury trial. Wednesday, a Sedgwick County District Court Judge scheduled that trial to begin at 9 a.m. May 28.
