KWCH employee arrested for electronic solicitation


WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) Wichita police have arrested a part-time KWCH employee.

Tuesday afternoon, Troy "TJ" Rigg, Jr. was booked into the Sedgwick County jail on a charge of electronic solicitation, a sex crime under Kansas law.

Eyewitness News received an anonymous email Sunday night detailing possible inappropriate conduct involving Rigg.

The email contained a text message exchange and pictures.

Eyewitness News called police Monday morning, asked them to investigate and placed Rigg on leave pending the outcome of the investigation.

Rigg worked as an associate producer.
