Overland Park man charged after traffic stop in Lenexa

LENEXA, Kan. (KWCH) An Overland Park man is facing human trafficking charges after a routine traffic stop in Lenexa.

Police say on Feb.1, an officer pulled over a vehicle in the 8000 block of Leexa Drive. A man, woman and girl were inside the vehicle.

The officer became suspicious that they were involved in human trafficking and took them into custody, police said.

Investigators say the girl was less than 18-years-old and from Kansas City, Missouri.

Antonio Flemming, 36, was charged with aggravated human trafficking and commercial exploitation of a child. His bond is set at $500,000.
