Man dies from injuries suffered in Pratt officer-involved shooting
The Kansas Bureau of Investigation says a man who shot by Pratt police on Nov. 13 has died from his injuries.
The KBI says officers responded to a call of a man waving a gun in the air. They arrived to find an armed man outside the residence. He was later identified as Rene Prieto, 38, of Pratt.
The KBI says as officers approached Prieto he fired at one of the officers.
Three officers returned fire and struck Prieto. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition -- at that time.
No officers were hurt.
The KBI says the investigation is ongoing.
