The crooner, known for songs like "I Took a Pill in Ibiza" and "You think you're cooler than me," shared a photo on Instagram Friday with the message, "Whoever said Kansas is boring never walked west out of Strong City on 150 during sunrise. This morning was maybe the most gorgeous segment of the entire walk. Taking a quick stretch break and heading back out there. Feeling real good. KEEP GOING."

According to Posner's website, he's worked 1,394 miles so far.

Posner says he's walking in honor of his father and friends Avicii and Mac Miller.

Posner says his number one goal is to "Leave each town we go through a little bit better than when we arrived."
