Chief Meteorologist Ross Janssen says that warm sunshine will likely be around through the middle of the week. The wind will be picking up in the coming days with some of the strongest winds arriving Thursday and Friday.

Some clouds will be passing through during the night and early morning hours Wednesday. Lows will be in the 50s and highs Wednesday will be in the mid to upper 80s. Some lower 90s might be possible in central or southwest Kansas.

Thursday will be warm and windy for much of the state. Thunderstorm chances look to increase for the area by Friday and Saturday.
