Chief Meteorologist Ross Janssen says that stronger winds will return on Thursday and Friday with very warm temperatures continuing for the area.
Skies will be mostly clear and temperatures will stay mild during the night. Low temperatures will be in the 60s with a south breeze overnight. Skies will be mostly sunny Thursday afternoon with temperatures hovering around 90 degrees. South winds will gust up to 35 mph.
Look for more warm temperatures on Friday with highs in the mid to upper 80s. The thunderstorm chance is very small in Kansas, but if something does develop in western Kansas, it could produce hail and high winds.
Thunderstorm chances will increase on Saturday with the threat of hail and high winds shifting east into central and eastern Kansas.
