WICHITA, Kas. (KWCH) A Wichita man accused of shooting and killing another man at a bar in southeast Wichita made his first appearance in Sedgwick County Court Wednesday afternoon.
David Pressley, 42, was charged with second-degree murder and a felon in possession of a firearm.
Those charges stem from the Sept. 29 shooting which led to the death of 29-year-old Demario Cooks.
Police said Cooks died from his injuries after he was shot in the parking lot of the Magoo's Bar.
Police arrested Pressley Oct. 5.
His bond has been set at $800,000.
His next court date is Oct. 24.
