Oklahoma dog thrown into dumpster 'like a piece of trash'

An Oklahoma dog has a second chance at life after he was found in a dumpster last week.

Mutt Misfits Animal Rescue Society said it received a call from a partner shelter about the abandoned pup.

Someone had wrapped the dog in gauze and threw him in the trash -- "like a piece of trash."

He was emaciated with scabs all of over his body.

"We are completely and utterly heartbroken," said the Mutt Misfits. "His new life starts now. We will keep you posted."
