Pedestrian struck and killed in NW Kansas

A pedestrian has died after being struck by a car in Northwest Kansas.

It happened shortly after 10:00 p.m. Tuesday.

The Kansas Highway Patrol says 22-year-old Tyler Kuhn was walking on Highway 36 near the town of Norton when he was struck by a vehicle in the eastbound lane.

Kuhn died at the scene.

The Salina Journal reports the vehicle that hit Kuhn did not stop. Authorities did not have any information on the vehicle that struck him.
