Update 5:10 p.m.: The Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office says they do not believe foul play was involved in the case of a man found dead in the road next to a vehicle Monday morning in southeast Sedgwick County.

The sheriff's office says, at this point, they are not looking for a suspect.

The Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a body was found in the southeast part of the county Monday morning.

Authorities were called to 127th Street E. just south of 47th Street S. after someone saw a car stopped in the middle of the road.

Officers arrived at around 7:00 a.m. and found a man dead on the road next to the vehicle.

The man's body did have injuries, but police have not given any specifics. Investigators are treating the death as suspicious and the coroner has been called to the scene.

Sheriff's detectives are working with arson investigators with the Sedgwick County Fire Department.

That area will be closed until police can investigate and clear the scene.
