Tips lead to arrest of wanted man in Rooks County

ROOKS COUNTY, Kan. (KWCH) The Rooks County Sheriff's Office says tips from the public led to the arrest of 51-year-old John Swaney.

Swaney was wanted for felony warrants for distribution of marijuana in Rooks and Phillips counties.

He was supposed to be sentenced to prison Wednesday but failed to appear for court.

The Rooks County Sheriff's Office thanks the public for tips that helped deputies arrest Swaney.
