Chief Meteorologist Ross Janssen says that after some sunshine on Thursday, rain and snow will be arriving for Friday. We've issued a Storm Team 12 Weather Alert day for some snow that may impact part of your weekend.
Skies will be mostly clear to partly cloudy during the night. Lows will slip back to the 20s and 30s with light south winds. Thursday will have some increase in clouds during the afternoon with highs still near 50.
Clouds will take over heading into Friday with chances for rain arriving by mid to late morning. Showers will continue into the afternoon and evening before switching over to some snow. It's too early to say how much snow, but some parts of Kansas will have accumulations by Saturday morning. If you plan to travel Saturday, please prepare for wet and some slushy roads around the area.
