Rain chances return for a few

Chief Meteorologist Ross Janssen says that a few shower and storms could develop on Tuesday as a cold front begins moving into Kansas. After temperatures will stay above normal for another afternoon.

Skies will mainly be clear into the night with lows staying above freezing for most of the state. South winds will continue to be gusty. Tuesday starts with sunshine, but clouds begin to move in for the afternoon. A few showers and storms may develop over south central and eastern Kansas during the afternoon. Temperatures will mainly be in the 60s and 70s.

Behind the cold front, the middle of the week looks a bit cooler. Highs will be in the 40s and 50s for Wednesday and Thursday.

Tomorrow: Becoming mostly cloudy, aftn showers/storms. Wind: S 15-25; gusty. High: 61.

Tomorrow night: A few evening showers possible. Wind: S/SE 5-15. Low: 45.
