Rooks County Sheriff's Office K9 Unit seeks votes to win grant

ROOKS COUNTY, Kan. (KWCH) The Rooks County Sheriff's Office K9 Unit is asking for the public's help to win the Aftermath K9 Grant Contest for 2017.

The contest gives grants of up to $5,000 to $1,000 to departments that receive the most votes.

Last years first place winner received approximately 150,000 votes.

"Please help out K9 Sergeant Nolan Weiser and K9 Koda on winning a prize in this contest that could assist the K9 program greatly!" A post reads on the sheriff's office Facebook page.

To vote, click here, select the Rooks County Sheriffs Office and submit your vote. You can vote once a day until Nov. 7 when the contest ends.
