A School Resource Officer in Salina is accused of interfering with a law enforcement officer.

According to The Salina Post, Amanda Londono was driving on I-135 early Sunday morning when she pulled into the left lane and continued to drive on the inside shoulder.

Authorities say a sheriff's deputy stopped her, and smelled alcohol. The deputy asked her to get out of the vehicle, but she refused and was arrested.

The sheriff says Londono serves as an SRO at Salina High School.

The Salina Police Department has launched an internal investigation into the incident.
