A co-owner of Kansas City's Schlitterbahn water park faces new charges related to drugs and sex crimes, Kansas City station, KCTV 5 reports from court documents revealed Tuesday.
Those documents show Jeffery Henry was charged with intent to distribute meth, hiring someone to perform sexual acts, and possession of drug paraphernalia and Xanax, KCTV 5 reports. These charges, dating back to July are out of Johnson County.
Previously, Henry was involved in a lawsuit connected with the August 2016 death of 10-year-old Caleb Schwab on the Verruckt water slide.
In May, a grand jury in Kansas indicted the Schlitterbahn park and its former operations director on 20 felony counts, including involuntary manslaughter.
