The Butler County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a body was found in El Dorado Lake Saturday.

Sheriff Kelly Herzet says the body was found around 5:30 p.m. near Boulder Bluff (Area 2 of El Dorado Lake).

Herzet says a fisherman was fishing and saw the body against the bank in a cove. The body was unrecognizable but appears to be a decomposed man.

The body is out of the water and authorities have transported it to the forensic center in Sedgwick County.

Herzet says more information is expected to be released Monday.
