Sheriff's office seeks to find owner of shot pitbull puppy

PAWNEE COUNTY, Kan. (KWCH) The Pawnee County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to locate the owner of a dog that was shot last month.

Some passersby found the four-to-five-month-old tan pitbull on O Road between 110th and 120th Roads back in July.

Reports are that the dog was shot multiple times and was taken to the vet where it was euthanized.

The sheriff's office is aking for owner information, circumstances, past history or anything that could help with the ongoing investigation.
