Some McCartney presale tickets sold out fast
Tickets for Paul McCartney's One on One Tour went on sale Wednesday morning at 9:00 a.m. for members of his fan club.
At 10:00 a.m. they went on sale for American Express Card holders on selectaseat.com.
Once on the website, you had to navigate through several pages before you could see what tickets were available.
Tony Nation went through McCartney's website to get his tickets.
"The $31.50 and $61.50 sold out right away, so I had to spend $100 to go see him, but you know, it's worth it," said Nation who bought two tickets.
Those price tiers were initially available for presale for American Express Card holders, but within 30 minutes were sold out.
"I was hoping for the $31.50, but I had to go with the next one there," said Nation.
And you can imagine why. There were not very many seats available for $31.50 and $61.50.
"I'm really excited," said Nation. "I'm going to keep looking around to see if there are any chances to meet him, so hopefully there's backstage passes that come along."
There's another round of presale tickets available on Friday if you're on Intrust Bank Arena's email list. For everyone else, tickets go on sale Monday morning, May 1st at 10:00.
I spoke to the promotion company for the concert. There were 11,000 tickets available for the July 19th concert. They would not say how many are left, just that the general public will have access to tickets at every price point.
You'll just need to move fast.
