Some humidity relief on the way

By  |

Chief Meteorologist Ross Janssen says that a front is expected in Kansas on Wednesday, helping to lower temperatures a bit and shove some humidity south of the area. Thunderstorm chances will be minimal as the front comes through.

Low temperatures early Wednesday will be down in the 60s and 70s with clear skies. Afternoon temperatures should drop into the 80s across central and northern Kansas, but near the Oklahoma state line, it will be another day with highs into the low 90s. Northeast winds will be under 15 mph during the afternoon.

The low humidity will be around through Thursday, but heading into the weekend, temperatures and humidity should be going back up.
