Chief Meteorologist Ross Janssen says that storm chances will continue across the Plains with off and on chances for some strong to severe storms. The highest chance of severe weather Tuesday will be east of a Russell to Medicine Lodge line.
Low temperatures Tuesday morning will be in the 60s with light winds. Highs will reach the mid 80s and most of the storms will take place from mid afternoon into the night.
Wednesday could have some showers or storms in eastern Kansas, but most of the area will still have clouds. Temperatures will cool off a bit with highs near 80 for midweek.
Get ready for things to heat up at the end of the week. Highs will climb into the 90s by Thursday and Friday, with some areas in western Kansas seeing some mid 90s by Friday.
