Chief Meteorologist Ross Janssen says that some scattered showers and storms will develop into early Friday. Severe chances are low at the beginning of the day, but some brief heavy downpours are likely.
Humidity will be coming back Friday too. Lows will be down in the 50s and 60s with south winds continuing. The afternoon looks mainly dry, but after 6 p.m., scattered storms will develop and move back into western Kansas before pushing east. A few strong to severe storms will be possible with some wind gusts up to 60 mph.
Saturday, much of the day will be dry with sunshine. But a few storms may develop over southern Kansas and into northern Oklahoma heading into the evening.
